So Many Books, So Little Time

I read everything. Unless it's not good.
In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin - Erik Larson Tense entertaining read of the months leading up to Hitler's total takeover of Germany. There are a lot of "characters" in this book, and I would have appreciated a list of who everyone was. Martha Dodd seems pretty cool to hang out with, if a little flighty. This book made me realize how little I know about World War II. I used to hate history, so I'm not really that surprised. Every time I read an Erik Larson book I learn something new.
