So Many Books, So Little Time

I read everything. Unless it's not good.
Bitterblue - Kristin Cashore, Ian Schoenherr This book was so hard for me to get through. I literally had to force myself to read it. Nothing happened, honestly. There was little to no action, especially compared to the other two books. I liked Bitterblue as a character before but in this book she was so worrying and wishy-washy and blah. Again, I'm not a reader that tries to predict what is happening in a book, but I feel like all of the "big surprises" were not that surprising. I guess the biggest reveal is that Leck made other people do his dirty work, but I didn't find it that shocking and I couldn't believe THAT was the big reveal of the whole book. Didn't we also already know that the Dellians and Pikkians existed? Was that also supposed to be a huge surprise as well? And Saf. Why did they even like each other? At least, thank God, it wasn't a love triangle. For a book about secrets, the secrets were just not that interesting.

I need Death and Lovejoy to get their own book. Now THAT I would read.
