So Many Books, So Little Time

I read everything. Unless it's not good.
The Diviners - Libba Bray Man, what a creepy mystery. I really liked Evie as a character and how she is loyal, even when she doesn't want to be. The final confrontation is terrifying.

There were enough questions answered to be satisfying, and enough loose ends left over to make me eager for the sequel. I'm still not sure why Evie got to stay, and I don't know why her parents thought it was a good idea for such a troublemaker to go to NYC in the FIRST PLACE, but in a story where damn near everyone has magical powers I guess I could suspend my disbelief for at least part of the book. Very entertaining, the bee's knees!
